Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the official launch of my own personal website, and blog (what your currently reading) where I share cool stuff. I thought it be nice to start the official launch giving away some free stuff, because you know, everyone loves free stuff. (I know I do).
To start off for those who may not know me, or know what I do, you can read more about me back ground by checking out my about me page detailing a little bit about who I am along with my portfolio.
The Main Event!
Okay, lets jump right to the main event, which is the Bitcasa invite giveaways. If you follow popular tech blogs like TechCrunch, Gizmodo, and Engadget you probably heard about this upcoming cloud based storage startup. If not, its cool, I’ll let you know all about it and I will be giving away 3 invites to the service for 3 lucky people
About Bitcasa
Bitcasa (Pronounced as its spelled, and “casa” as in house in Spanish), is a new upcoming service that lets you store an infinite amount of data from movie files, music files, any folder, any file to be honest, and even entire hard drives for free. Yes, the key word in that sentence is free, which is personally freaking awesome, and hard to beat (watch out Dropbox).
For more detailed information about Bitcasa, visit their website or check out this intro video of Bitcasa.

LikeI'm creating backups of my PC files almost daily because I need them to be sync with my mobile and tablet. Most of the time I use Dropbox because it offers accesibility for more platforms than others. I have read about bitcasa and I really want to use it because of the ease of use and no limits about backup. I really want a limitless cloud storage like bitcasa.

LikeLuisEscoffie Bitcasa has huge potential, and entering at a perfect time into a market that is willing to pay to have that service, and at $10/month is going to be hard to beat for Bitcasa's competitors like Dropbox, Box.com, SkyDrive, Mozy, and others.

LikeOnce a month. But never seem to get everything I need backed up. I love the idea of just having everything baked up just in case. Kind of a Digital Packrat's dream come true! Looks like a great service.

LikeLekanB Thanks for commenting on the post, and I also love the idea of having it all backed up in one place, which is now possible thanks to Bitcasa. I currently backup weekly because I have about 6 TB of data on home servers, and image if I were to lose all that data :-0

LikeNot enough! I'm constantly running out of room on my Dropbox account, and shuffling files around to make room for what's most important. External hard drives may be the way to go soon enough, unless of course Bitcasa lives up to it's hype at $10/month!

LikeCarneyCK I agree, and samehere, I have 100 GB account on Dropbox, which I cancelled and removed all my files once I got on Bitcasa. Backing up is essential, and highly need especially important files, and at $10/month is a sweet deal.

LikeI try to back up once a week. Right now my storage device is full and I've been looking to purchase externals, but they're extraordinarily expensive right now. 2 days ago I grabbed a Dropbox account for the free 2 gigs, which was immediately filled with important photos.

LikeGordonjasonj thanks for the comment Jason, and backing up is really important especially important files like photos. I've also used dropbox in the past but found 2 GB was not enough, than went to their 50 GB offer than so and so forth until I started looking at way better alternatives.
